When you want to
describe objects that have not yet been created, the words are insufficient.
For this reason, graphic expression is so important in the technological world.
Graphical expression simplifies the communication of some concepts related to
the topology and geometry of objects. To draw you need paper, pencil and
drawing instruments, among which the square, the bevel and the compass are
highlighted. The passage of objects from 2 to 3 dimensions is called
perspective. In order to universalize the graphic expression, standardized
perspectives are used, among which the European system stands out. The European
system represents the objects by means of an orthogonal projection in the
planes of the space. Each projection is called A view. The most representative
is the elevation, under it is represented the upper floor and to its right the
left-hand profile of the objects. To express their dimensions are used the
dimension lines that express the actual values of the objects in millimeters.
The sketches of the objects are their representation in the European system by
freehand and with their main dimensions. They can be set sketches or can be
exploded. Both drawings are related by numbers called marks.
